Talk by Malcolm Mollart

The meeting was  a very informative and entertaining talk, “A Year-round Garden“. It was given by Malcolm Mollart a retired Headmaster and Organic Gardener in Shropshire.  Malcolm was ably assisted by his wife Jude. To find out more about Malcolm and Jude click here.

His presentation was based on the development of their garden over several years, the aim was to create all year interest in the garden by using plants. He stressed that using  well known plants is good practice, for whilst they are common and widely used, they have stood the test of time for their hardiness and presentation. Leaving seed heads etc. on plants was another tip he gave for creating further interest throughout the year.
